Proposed Hospice Layout
The County Carlow Hospice Committee hope to work actively as a voluntary group to enhance and develop existing facilities available to terminally ill people and their families throughout County Carlow.
We are committed to help raise funds towards the building of a dedicated 5 be hospice facility in our local community.
A substantial number of people in Carlow and the surrounding areas suffer with advanced terminal illnesses. Sadly these people may have a few weeks to a few months to live and as such we want to assist those in our community suffering with terminal illnesses and ensure they are provided with a care setting which enables dignity and comfort in their final days. Our vision is that regardless of religion, culture or social situation, no one in the County Carlow community should have to face death or bereavement without appropriate care or support.
